- The package contains a total of 400 dressings. 40 boxes of 10 individually wrapped sterile dressings. Size of dressings: 4" X 4" (10 cm X 10 cm). Size of central pad: 2.5" x 2.5" (6.2 cm x 6.2 cm). Thickness of the central pad: 5 mm.
- ENHANCED ADHESIVE: Gentle adhesion to dry skin is non-adherent to moist wound, making it a painless and stress-free removal.
- WATERPROOF: Water does not pass from the exterior to the wound. It is NOT submergible, for water may still enter through the sides if submerged. For best results, change if wet. Not ideal for showers or swimming.
- VERSATILE USE: The dressing may be used in a wide variety of situations, including: Venous ulcers, Pressure sores, Donor sites, 1st and 2nd degree burns, Lacerations, Pressure ulcers, Traumatic wounds, Surgical wounds, Skin tears, and on dry/necrotic wounds in combination with gels.
- NO LATEX: Re-tested for latex (ASTM D6499-18 Inhibition ELISA). Results show latex is non-detected.
Areza Ultra-Absorbent Silicone Foam with Adhesive Border consists of a fenestrated silicone wound contact layer, a triple-layer ultra-absorbent pad, and a vapor permeable, waterproof polyurethane (PU) film backing. The multi-layer construction facilitates dynamic fluid management, providing an optimal moist wound environment that promotes faster wound healing. Dynamic fluid management may help reduce the risk of maceration. During dressing change, the gentle silicone layer can significantly minimize pain and trauma to the wound and its surrounding skin. The two main absorbent layers- PU foam and ultra-absorbent polyacrylate, provide superior absorption and lock exudates away. The PU backing is waterproof and vapor permeable and may protect against contaminations by external fluids and organisms.
